Fellowship Pathways

Choose the Pathway That Matches How Deeply You Want to Go

The TBP Global Strategist Fellowship Institute — ÌMỌ̀DÒYE™ — offers two structured Fellowship pathways designed around different levels of professional development and project engagement. Both pathways enable participants to work with curated TBP projects, apply the DESQUELET® methodology, develop applied professional experience and build documented evidence of their work. The difference is primarily one of depth, project scope and development intensity.

The TBP Global Strategist Fellowship is designed for undergraduates, graduates, professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers and sector specialists seeking to apply their knowledge and expertise within future-facing TBP projects while developing strategic thinking, applied project experience and a stronger professional portfolio.

The Fellow selects a professional field, chooses a Primary TBP Project and applies DESQUELET® to investigate and develop an approved Fellowship Thesis or Applied Project work. The Primary Project is normally targeted for completion within approximately 12 weeks.

Participants may then use the remaining Fellowship period — up to approximately 24 weeks — to explore and develop up to two approved Supporting Projects, allowing them to broaden their experience and demonstrate the transferability of their thinking across different projects, regions or sectors.

Pathway 02

TBP Global Strategist Applied R&D & Technology Development Fellowship

One Project. Deep Research. Applied Development.
US$7,500 One-Off Programme Fee
Indicative Duration
16–24 Weeks
Project Structure
1 Substantial TBP Project

The Applied R&D & Technology Development Fellowship is an intensive project-based pathway for professionals and specialists seeking to undertake deeper research, technical analysis, modelling, development or innovation within one approved TBP project.

Unlike a conventional fixed curriculum, each Fellowship is individually scoped according to the participant's professional background, expertise, interests, strengths, selected project, proposed research area and expected outputs.

The focus is deliberately on one project rather than multiple projects, allowing the Fellow to undertake deeper and more substantive work.

One Project. Multiple Professional Perspectives.

A single TBP project may bring together Fellows from different disciplines — for example, within the same infrastructure project:

Engineering Fellow

Technical design and feasibility

Finance Fellow

Commercial viability and project finance

AI / Technology Fellow

Simulation, digital twins or intelligent systems

ESG Fellow

Sustainability and lifecycle analysis

Policy Fellow

Institutional and regulatory frameworks

Participants may collaborate while retaining clearly defined individual research scopes and professional evidence.

What the Applied R&D Fellowship Offers

Individual R&D Project Scoping

Develop an approved Individual R&D Contribution Plan defining the research question, project scope, methodology and expected outputs.

Deep Project Research

Undertake substantive research into a defined aspect of a selected TBP project.

DESQUELET® Applied Development

Use DESQUELET® as the common framework to understand, explore, question, develop, test and evaluate the proposition.

Research & Technical Development

Depending on discipline: research, technical analysis, engineering development, financial modelling, software, AI, architecture, simulation, systems design, policy or ESG analysis.

Simulation, Modelling & Testing

Where appropriate, move beyond conceptual research into scenario development, modelling, simulation, prototyping or structured testing.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

Work alongside other Fellows investigating different aspects of the same TBP project.

Structured Development Reviews

Progress is assessed through appropriate research, development, technical and final reviews rather than a conventional examination structure.

Enhanced Professional Evidence

Create a substantial professional record demonstrating depth within one specialised project.

TBP Project Lifecycle

Where relevant, Applied R&D work may be mapped against the existing TBP project-development lifecycle. These are project-development stages, not compulsory course modules — a Fellow contributes to whichever stage or stages are relevant to their approved research scope.
